Doherty Builders provides building and renovation services across Buckinghamshire, London and the Home Counties. All quotations provided are estimates and may be subject to change following a detailed site survey. Final pricing will be confirmed in a written contract prior to work commencing.
3. Quotations & Pricing
All quotations are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise stated. Prices quoted exclude VAT unless explicitly stated otherwise. Any variations to the agreed scope of work may result in additional charges, which will be discussed and agreed with you before proceeding.
4. Payment Terms
Payment schedules are agreed on a project-by-project basis and will be outlined in your contract. We operate a staged payment structure tied to project milestones. No work will commence until the initial deposit (if applicable) has been received.
5. Guarantees & Warranties
All work carried out by Doherty Builders is guaranteed for workmanship defects. Specific warranty periods will be outlined in your project contract. Manufacturer warranties on materials and products are passed through to you and are subject to the manufacturer's terms.
6. Insurance
Doherty Builders maintains comprehensive public liability insurance and employer's liability insurance. Certificates of insurance are available on request.
7. Cancellation
If you wish to cancel a project after a contract has been signed, please notify us in writing as soon as possible. Cancellation charges may apply to cover costs already incurred, including materials ordered and work completed.
8. Limitation of Liability
Doherty Builders shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential losses arising from our services. Our total liability shall not exceed the total contract value of the project in question.
9. Data Protection
We take your privacy seriously. Any personal information submitted through our website or during the course of our services will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK data protection legislation including the UK GDPR.
